Kit Perrick

Kit was born and raised in North Vancouver where he spent much of his upbringing playing hockey, skiing and sea kayaking. He got his Bachelors of Arts (1998) and his Bachelors of Education (1999) degrees from University of British Columbia, and obtained his law degree from the University of Calgary, in 2003. He still teaches on occasion in the public schools, mostly for North Vancouver School District #44.

Prior to his call to the Bar of British Columbia in 2004, and his call to the Bar in Manitoba, in 2005, he was a secondary school teacher. In the past 16 years, he has practiced in civil litigation, mainly Aboriginal and civil rights cases, but also in personal injury and family law.

He has honed his professionalism and earned national respect working as a passionate advocate for the victims/survivors of abuse, and frequently advocating on behalf of First Nations all across Western Canada. In 2019, he became a BC Law Society accredited Family Law Mediator.

Kit’s professional cross-competencies as a lawyer, teacher and mediator will make a strong advocate with a lot of valuable experience working on your behalf.

When Kit is not spending time with his 3 children, he is usually to be found out in the wilderness or out kayaking in some remote location, most likely out on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
