For 16 years Kit has helped clients resolve a variety of civil disputes – many of which are sensitive in nature. He works with clients during stressful life events and believes advocacy, guidance and patience are paramount to supporting you until your issue is resolved.
His practice focuses on civil litigation, notably aboriginal and civil rights cases, family law and personal injury matters. He has honed his skills by dedicating himself to helping others and earned national respect working as a passionate advocate for the victims/survivors of abuse, and frequently representing First Nations across Western Canada.
In keeping with his interests to support clients in peaceful resolutions when possible, Kit is a recently accredited BC Law Society Family Law Mediator. Prior to his legal career, Kit was a secondary school teacher. These cross-competencies as a lawyer, teacher and mediator are uniquely beneficial to clients seeking skilled, thoughtful and sensitive representation.
Kit was born and raised in North Vancouver where he spent much of his upbringing playing hockey, skiing and sea kayaking. When not spending time with his three children, he is often in the wilderness or kayaking in some remote location, most likely on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
